Clémenceau avec Michel Bouquet
Au printemps 2014, Jérôme Diamant-Berger se retrouve sur la route vendéenne qu’emprunta en 1928 Henri Diamant-Berger, son grand-père, pour tourner le seul film jamais réalisé sur et avec Georges Clemenceau.

In the spring of 2014, Jérôme Diamant-Berger found himself on the Vendée road that Henri Diamant-Berger, his grandfather, took in 1928 to shoot the only film ever made about and with Georges Clemenceau.
Thanks to the magic of old images intimately mixed with the current shoot, thanks to the interpretation of Michel Bouquet who slips with genius into the skin of the « Tiger » and that of Béatrice Thiriet who poetically and musically embodies Marguerite Balspenberger to whom he dedicated a devouring passion, finally thanks to the stories of historians Michel Winock and Jean-Noël Jeanneney, this film stages the universality and timelessness of Clemenceau’s political and deeply human messages.
